KOLONBIOTIC^® Junior is a synbiotic (probiotic + prebiotic) for children, containing specially selected cultures of lactic acid Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG bacteria, in an extremely high concentration of as much as 7 billion (7×10⁹ CFU*). In addition, it contains fructo-oligosaccharides and vitamin D3 an ingredients which helps in the proper functioning of the immune system .

Lactic-acid bacteria are strains naturally occurring in the human microbiome. Their proper proportion is one of the factors of the microbiological balance of the intestine. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is a safe strain of bacteria, widely tested, for both adults and children. The probiotic bacteria found in the product are protected using the micro – encapsulation method. Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis of inulin from chicory, are a source of energy for probiotic bacteria.
